There have been rumblings throughout the McDonald’s fandom community that Halloween would look a little like last year at the fast-food giant and, of course, me being me, I did my due diligence, dug around with my sources and I can ultimately say that it looks as if McDonald’s Halloween Pails will indeed be making a return for the 2023 Halloween season!

Last year, I and along with every other millennial, lost their ever-loving minds at the news of the return of the sweet smell of fry stank inside a McBoo bucket. Much like this year, I got my intel from a source that wishes to remain anonymous with picture proof of a calendar that shows the Halloween Pails promo on the roster beginning October 17th, through October 30th, 2023.

As with last year when I let out the little trick-or-treating secret, keep in mind McDonald’s hasn’t released this information to the public nor is this official in any way. But, my sources are pretty solid and the proof is in the picture, folks! No, details yet on what they may look like or if the buckets will mimic another nostalgic era of the Halloween pails, but I would be more than to happy to see a purple, cookie-cutter McWitch from 1993.

While I’m pretty damn excited to see McDonald’s get back to their King Of Halloween roots with acknowledging how powerful their Halloween promotions are, one can only hope that those beloved McNugget Halloween buddies can be found in this year’s Halloween bucket reeking of nostalgia and cheeseburger onions.
