Remastered Beavis and Butthead Episodes WITH ORIGINAL MUSIC VIDEOS Headed To Paramount+

Huh, huh, we totally scored! Our call to have the music videos restored to our beloved Beavis and Butthead episodes have been heard and will be streaming on Paramount+ along with the new film, Beavis and Butthead Do The Universe starting June 23rd, 2022.

With the news first broken by Consequence.com, over 200 episodes will be restored to their original glory with those awesome, and some that kind of suck, music videos that served as an interlude in-between their episodic adventures.

Upon DVD release of the MTV show and reruns on syndicated TV, the music videos have since been cut out, not only causing an outcry from 90s babies, but also dimming the light on a ridiculous, yet important program that was huge for the 90s generation. I mean, I can never NOT think of Butt-head’s infinite wisdom when they narrated Blondie’s “Rapture” video and point out that Deborah Harry’s name in the phonebook would be seen as Harry Deborah.

It’s the little things. Grab your nachos and tune into Paramount+ on June 23rd, 2022 for a Beavis and Butthead orgy with BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD DO THE UNIVERSE and all the original episodes restored as they were meant to be seen: With interludes of Alice Cooper and a bunch of “butts” in a music video.

“This Is Spinal Tap” Sequel in the Works With Original Cast and Director

Nope, that’s not an armadillo in my trouser. It’s been confirmed that a sequel to the 1984 rock mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap is in the works and I’m just really excited about that.

Spinal Tap II has been set in motion with Rob Reiner, who made his directorial debut with the beloved parody band film and will be back to direct the sequel along with also returning as filmmaker Marty DiBergi.

Also ready to make their saucy return are David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer), and Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), the nucleus of England’s loudest heavy metal band.

According to the report, Reiner deployed the premise of the film as, “the band was upset with the first film. They thought I did a hatchet job and this is a chance to redeem myself. I am such a big fan and I felt bad they didn’t like what they saw in the first film. When I heard they might get back together, I was a visiting adjunct teacher’s helper at the Ed Wood School of Cinematic Arts. I drop everything to document this final concert.”

The plan is to release the film on March 19, 2024, to coincide with the original movie’s 40th anniversary.

[Trailer] Tubi Steamrolling In With A Terror Train Remake For Halloween 2022

Free streaming service Tubi has been nothing short of a breath of fresh air amongst a multitude of pricey streaming platforms with a beautiful selection of horror films to boot. From horror series, Freddy’s Nightmares recently added, to cult and modern scare classics, who honestly needs anything more, right? Well, Tubi has been stepping up their game recently even further by adding original programming and in doing so, a remake of a 1980 horror treasure has been announced to premiere this 2022 Halloween season- a Terror Train remake!

The original Jamie Lee Curtis starred ‘whodunit’ slasher revenge fest on a train on New Year’s Eve filled with a bunch of college students has become a beloved horror classic over the years and the 2022 revival is parallral in context; except it is set on Halloween rather than New Year’s Eve.

In the 2022 modern retelling, the official description is as follows: “Alana (Robyn Alomar) and a group of college seniors board a party train for a Halloween-themed bash, but their fun spirals into fear as attendees are killed off one by one by an unknown killer. Concealed by costumes and plagued with chaos, everyone is a suspect. As the party train continues full steam ahead, Alana must race against the rails to find the killer before she becomes the next victim.”

The cast is steered by Canadian actress Robyn Alomar (“Utopia Falls”), and Tim Rozon (“Schitt’s Creek”). The movie is written by Ian Carpenter along with Aaron Martin (“Slasher”) and is directed by Philippe Gagnon (“Amber Alert”).
